First month of birth control and almost 3rd day of placebo pills no period, help?

so it is my first month of birth control, i get my period typically on the 25th of every month. after my period and before i started birth control i took the morning after pill which gave me another period, that ended on around the 11th, then after that i started birth control... i have taken my whole pack of birth control now and it is the 7th and tomorrow is my 3rd day of placebo pills, NO PERIOD! im worried i may be pregnant... my boyfriend and i didnt have sex since the morning after pill but we did other things that may get me pregnant... any advice?First month of birth control and almost 3rd day of placebo pills no period, help?
don't worry..it's pretty normal for some people not to get there period at all while taking birth controls..just continue to take your birth control normally and everything should be ok..if your really worried..from now on use a back up method such as condoms while enjoying sex with your partner.. also you should take an over the counter pregnancy test to calm some of your worries..hope i helped

Depends on how long she's been on it, best to wait at least one month just to be sure. But by not using a condom you're leaving the two of you open to STDs.
Don't bother with the pull out method. There is always pre-***. That method is pointless.

But there's always a slight chance of pregnancy, so it's really your (and her) choice.

I have two 12 v dc motors run off a car battery, continually charged by a car 50 amp alternator run by the 6.5 h.p. lawnmower engine. One motor driving each rear wheel. I am controlling with a ';Futaba'; transmitter and reciever through a 12-15 volt 50 amp electronic motor speed controller to the two motors. When I hooked it up for a first trial, it resulted in three problems. I'll list them in order of importance to me but anybody answering any of them will be GREATLY appreciately by me!

1. There is no reverse function

2. When I release the joystick on the transmitter and it springs back to center, the motor should stop right? It doesen't. It doesn't stop untill I push the lever all the way towards the opposite direction from which I want the motor to turn. Kinda like even if there was reverse, I wouldn't have enough joystick movement to reach it.

3. The motor speed controller has a ';BEC'; 3 v battery eliminator circuit. I still need to hook up my 4 cell battery pack to use it?. HELP!How to remote control my lawnmower? I have futaba radio and reciever hooked to (ESC), but no reverse function?

Then go to ';Tools';...';Manage Add ons';...and make sure everything is enabled.

Then close Internet Explorer and reopen

Volume Control.. No volume control .. windows xp?

When I go to start, programs, assessories, entertainment and volume control, there is no volume control and I get this message. There are no active mixer decives avalibable, What do I do? how do I get it? Tried the windows cd doesn't do anything. Followed the instructions on the popup message to install mixer devices go to control panel, printers, other hardware and add hardware, it didn't work. Go to Start %26gt; Settings %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Sounds and Audio Devices.

When the Properties come up, on the Volume tab, in the Device volume, click on the Advanced tab.

That should bring up the Volume Control.

For easier access to the Volume Control, check off the ';Place volume icon in the taskbar'; setting.

That should put a speaker icon in the tasktray (the area on the right side of the taskbar).

You can double-click on the icon and it will bring up the Volume Control directly.
';No active mixer devices'; means that Windows can't find your sound hardware. I would start with the free driver-update service RadarSync:

This is my first month of taking Yaz birth control and I've been taking it at the same time everyday, haven't missed a day. However, I started having unprotected sex after the 2nd week of taking them, since my doctor said it'd be effective after the 2nd week. I experienced spotting on the first 2 days of the white pill and I just took my 3rd white pill but I still haven't gotten my period. I had cramps today though, but still no period. You can absolutely get it at Target, but you will have to pay full price for it, as opposed to a co-pay like you would have with an insurance company. You might contact your local Planned Parenthood %26amp; see if they will take the Rx and fill it for you. They would be a lot less expensive than a Target.

Well, Depo Provera [a birth control shot given every 3 months or so] is known to stop periods. It varies from person to person though. Some women stop their period immediately and it never comes back.

For myself, it stopped for about a month, then come back on a spotting pattern for a month, and now its sort of there but not really. I get my second shot in a few weeks, and i'm expect it to be completely gone. My case is the most often reported. And with the month of spotting [basically]..there were no cramps or anything. You really don't notice.

As for pains..SLEEP! Or just be active. I noticed that doing dancing that involved my waist/abs helped me alot, because I got bad lower back pains.

You should ask about Depo though. The only main side effect is it decreases your bone mass I believe, so you just need a higher calcium intake.

Make sure your Sound Driver isn't disabled; it may have inadvertently disabled itself during shutdown:

Go to Device Manager (Start%26gt; RightClick My Computer%26gt; Properties%26gt; Hardware Tab%26gt; Device Manager) and right click on your sound driver and choose enable. If not, try updating the driver, which will effectively restore it to factory settings if there's an update available.

If you don't know the name of you Sound Driver, so to Start%26gt; Run%26gt; dxdiag. Now go to the Sound Tab and any sound hardware installed is listed.

If that still doesn't work, the driver may have been uninstalled. If so, go to your computer's manufacturer's website and go to the ';Support'; section. There should be a link for drivers. You will need to know your computer's model, but once you enter that it will give you an option to download any missing drivers. Just find the Sound Driver and install it.

There is no need to take the morning after pill if you've taken all your birth control pills correctly. I think it would probably prevent pregnancy, but it's a lot of hormones and I don't know the interactions or what would happen. You would need to speak to your doctor and/or pharmacist and ask them about taking the morning after pill while you are already on the pill. I'm not sure why you would need to. It wouldn't make you infertile though it may mess up your cycle for a while.

There is no such thing as 100% effective pregnancy protection.

The birth control pill and the morning-after pill together is too many hormones (they are the same hormone, in fact). There is no reason at all to take the morning-after pill if you are stable on birth control pills and haven't missed any. Repeated use of the morning-after pill can make your periods irregular, which will only lead to more unnecessary pregnancy scares.

If you want to use a back-up method to your regular birth control pills, it shouldn't be another hormonal method. If you are taking all your daily pills, you are already covered in the hormone department. You should instead use a barrier method, like a condom or diaphragm, or a spermicide as your secondary protection.
The pill is 99% when used as directed. The morning after pill is 85% effective. So even with the pill and then the morning after pill, you could still end up being pregnant.

The ONLY 100% effective method is abstinence.

When you miss pills, you trigger the same reaction that taking the placebo pills does -- basically, since you aren't taking hormones daily, the drop in hormones causes what's called ';withdrawal bleeding'; to happen.

Keep taking your pills as normal and it should stop.

I answered this the other day, you should be clear on the answer by now. You are NOT a day late. Because you started birth control pills, you will NOT get your period until you are on the week of placebo pills. That's how pills work. The reason a woman bleeds normally is that her progesterone (a hormone produced by the ovaries) drops to almost nothing. The progesterone is needed to support the uterine lining. With the progesterone gone, the uterine lining sheds and you get your period. But birth control pills contain an artificial progesterone, which keeps your uterine lining in place until you stop taking the active pills. When you get on the placebo pills after 3 weeks on active pills, your progesterone drops to nothing and your lining sheds. But until that time, IT WILL NOT SHED. That's why you aren't getting your ';period';. You're not ';late';. You're just experiencing the very predictable effects of being on birth control pills. Your old period schedule doesn't exist anymore, and as long as you are taking the pills, you can expect this same new schedule.First month on birth control pills, no condom, already a day late on period.?
You can 't really say that you're ';late'; yet because it's your first month on the pills and you don't know on what day of the ';other'; colored pills you get your period. Your period isn't going to keep coming on the same schedule as before.

Either way I don't think you're pregnant. You started taking pills a week after your period ended, any time you start taking pills in the middle of your cycle it takes 7 days for the pills to be effective. You had sex on the 11th pill, so I think you're fine. Plus he pulled out! Not that the withdrawal method is an effective contraceptive, but the fact that you're on pills AND he pulled out is just extra reassurance that you're not pregnant.
Your likely not pregnant and I can give you several reasons.

1. If you were on your 11th pill, they would already be effective.

2. If you WERE in fact pregnant, you would not be missing your period yet. If the sex was 5 days ago, your body would not yet be producing the hormone to stop your periods; that takes about 2 weeks, so this would be a normal period.

3. You have to remember that birth control pills contain hormones and re-adjust your body's cycle. SAY you had a regular 30 day cycle. Then you start birth control. Birth control isn't going to leave you with a 30 day cycle. Your (for your type of pill) going to get a 28 day cycle.

4. Pills stop you ovulating, but if they failed and you ovulated, it would have been around day 7 since you started close to 2 weeks after the FIRST day of your period, right? So sex on day 11 would have no egg to fertilize.

What pill are you on in the pack? Right now? If you have a pack with 28 pills, you will most likely start around pill 24 or 25. NOT before 22 for sure. So if you started a week after your period ended, and your expecting it now, with a regular cycle of about 28 days. that means your likely somewhere around pill 14 of 15? Add details and let me know what pill you are currently on and i'll add details!

The only reason you would be missing this period is if you got pregnant sometime before your LAST period, which is unlikely because you got your period.

infact if you keep taking the pills with out the sugar pills you can make your period stop altogether (and not be pregnant.)

your period wont start until the 2 or 3rd day of the ';other '; colored pills... but if you want to skip it start yoru next pack right away..

It sounds like you set your pc to operate in background mode.

When you power up press F8 and get into your computer using Safe Mode.

You can then undo you changes.

Is it normal for 7 month old to swing arms like she has no control over them?

I know this is a weird questions but I am curious. My daughter is 7 months old and this has been going on since she was like a month old. She plays on the floor alot and sometimes when she is on her back her she swings her arm and hits the floor. It looks as though she doesn't have control over them. It happens more frequently when she is tired. She uses her arm just fine. She can grab things and switch objects between hands. I don't know if this is something all babies do or if I should worry? It is normal yes. Just follow your pills even if you start on your last day. Don't ever stop them or you may become pregnant! Some women don't have periods while on birth control, I never did whether on the pill or the depo shot. It is normal according to my GYN. Give it a little more time. On my birth control, each week starts with Sunday. And so when I get to the week of placebo pills (the sugar pills), I usually don't get my period until Friday of that week - which is 6 days of taking the placebos. And then on Sunday night, I start my next pill pack and my period usually ends on that Monday.

So yes, just stay on schedule with your pills and follow each week. But for future reference, when you're starting a new birth control, you really shouldn't skip periods by skipping the placebos until about your 4th pill pack. You need to let your body get used to the birth control before you start skipping.
I would continue taking it as normal, it may take a couple months for your body to get used to the hormones in Nortrel. Try your hardest to take the pill at the same time each day, as it will keep your body in line and prevent spotting and cramping =) If you continue to have the problem after this next package, contact your doctor just to be sure that everything is okay!
It takes awhile for some women's periods to get regular when on birth control. Do not stop taking your birth control everyday like you have been. Over the next few months your period should become regular. If it doesn't you might want to try a new kind. I was on one kind for 4 months and my period was all over the place. But I took Nortrel for 4 months and it was regular everytime.
You may want to take a pregnancy test just to be safe before you start taking more pills. If you have PCOS or anything else that causes you to not be regular then it may just take awhile.
Yes; you will want to start your new pack; period or not. And yes; you will still be protected. Your period will take a while to work itself out on your new bc.

all forms of birth control (other than abstinence) have side effects. it's just a matter of finding which one works well with your body. go to your gyno and talk it over and she/he should be able to help you find one that works.
the best birth control I found was not a pill it was a scapel applied to my husband's testicles. Hooray for the vasectomy!!!

93 ford explorer, the dash 4x4 control has no responds when pushed, where can I get the schematic for 4x4?

I could use the 4x4 for the winter, I check the fuse for the system,it was ok. Is there a control module for the 4x4, that is separate from the main computer? I can located the problem if I can find the wiring for the 4x4 system. the auto repair manual like Chilton, does not show nothing on how the system works, wiring or other wise. I can push the button on the dash, the indicators lights are not coming on. The problem with the 93 was usually the position indicator switch unit on the transfer case. They weren't soldered and give the controller bad indications, so it just stays in 2wd. It's very east to remove with a security torx bit. I rebuilt a few, but it's easier just to replace them.

You should be fine--sometimes BC causes irregular periods. Go to the store and buy a pregnancy test. You are probably pregnant. The light bleeding is called implantation bleeding, or its left over blood from your last period that your body is cleaning out. I've been on the Loestrin 24 since September or November of last year in order to regulate my very irregular and sometimes terribly painful periods once college began. Because of my parents' concerns of side effects, I stopped taking them over Winter Break and planned to take them once my period resumed. Unfortunately, my period did not return until after Spring Break in early March.

In the past, the pill was rather good at regulating my period, so that I wouldn't have my period until the dedicated dates where I'd take the iron supplements provided in the pack. And then the period would always be very light and almost unnoticeable--unless I'd forget a day, then I'd bleed for a day or so.

Now though, I'm having my period 2 weeks into this pack and with very painful and debilitating symptoms: constant cramping, terrible weakness, digestion problems, and depression. What's wrong? Is it just part of the restarting my pack? Is it the progestin and low levels of estrogin no longer enough? Or is it something else that I should consult with a doctor about?

You could try Planned Parenthood or similar clinic, but there may still be a small fee plus the possibility that your options for what type of pill to use may be limited. Sorry but 17 is not old enough yet to control your own life. Until you can support yourself financially your parents will have a direct say in your affairs so get over it and be glad they care enough to want a say.

its very normal to not have periods for a long time after coming off birth control. the longer youre on it the longer it can take for one to show up. I would just start taking it as you normally did before. if youre really worried about it why dont you just call and ask your doctor or his/her nurse to be sure. That's why they say it's not such a great idea to take birth control because it effects your menstrual cycle and causes it to be abnormal. It's not a terrible thing, but you probably shouldn't be taking it it has many risk factors.

Eat only dry foods...such as bread and crackers...not butter or anything on it though. Sip on water or ginger ale (leave it on the counter to make it flat and have no fizz left first). You can also eat a popsicle as they soothe your thoat from vomiting and are filled with electrolytes to give you energy. Eat only small amounts and drink by sips in small amount.

You really need to speak with your doctor as soon as you can. Make sure you at least try to keep yourself hydrated if possible.

Make sure you drink plenty and eat what you fancy, maybe book in to see your doctor they can help.
I felt the same, I am now 21 weeks, and feel fantastic, so hang in there. I found that it was worse when i was hungry, make sure you eat regularly, eating a snack before bedtime will make you not so hungry in the mornings. To be honest, there is no cure, it's something you have to put up with.

I sometimes had days where i vomited everything i tried to eat, this obviously worried me that my unborn baby would not the the nutrition it needed, but it will be fine as long as you keep hydrated and keep tring to eat.

If you are reaaly concerned you should talk to your midwife or GP.

P.s Ginger is supposed to help, but i never tried it myself.
Poor you! It really hard, but take it easy on yourself. Probably a good idea to talk to your doctor about the sickness, because you should be eating something. Eat anything you fancy. If everything makes you sick except porridge, or digestive bisvuits, eat those! Some kind of multi-vitamin pills would be important apart from anything else.

As for the sickness - Ginger always worked for me. You can make tea with fresh ginger and boiling water, get ginger tea bags, ginger biscuits, whetever works best for you. Don't worry, it doesn't last forever and you will feel better soon.

I think the asker means ';force,'; as in ';creating force.'; Not force like gravity or electromagnetism.

If I may elaborate on the asker's question, I think he means things such as, ';Why did the first big bang start if a god or creator or supernatural force didn't do it?'; Scientists know that the big bang is a cyclical event, but why did the first one start? How did it happen? Conservation of mass and energy can't satisfy these questions at this point in time. Perhaps it really was a god, or perhaps we need to adopt a new system of physics (such as string theory--but I don't know if string theory would satisfy these questions either). The big bang isn't the only thing, either. What is the driving force of evolution? What causes genetic mutations (radiation is relatively man-made, so this is not satisfactory for mutations that occurred before people)? How was the first strand of DNA assembled?

There's no evidence that there's any ';unknown force'; that controls the universe. So there's no more reason to believe that notion than there is to believe in a ';god'; (for which there is also no evidence of any kind).

Stopped Birth Control but no period yet?

My husband and I are trying for baby #1 so I stopped BC pills on July 7th and I was supposed to get my period July 31st (my normal cycle when on BC pills). I felt like I was going to get my period, but never did. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests (July 28, July 31st, Aug 2nd, and Aug 4th) and all results have been negative. I don't really have any symptoms other than being a little nauseous and tired every once and a while. I know it can take a while for my period to return to normal after stopping BC pills, but is this normal to not have a period for this long? Should I keep testing? Should I go see my Doctor? Don't bother going to your doc until October. If your periods haven't returned by then, they will give you Provera to bring on a period. Hopefully you won't have to wait that long. So, two weeks ago (not purposely) I missed two pills in the second week and 1 pill in the third week. I started bleeding a week before my period was due. It's nothing like a real period, just continuous spotting. I thought that this week (the time my period was actually supposed to come) my period would be normal, but its just spotting. yes when i started taking birth control i missed one but you are spotting because of the hormones the pill are giving to your body you need to get back on schedule and it will go back to normal.

If I am on birth control pills, and my bf uses condoms, and I do my part and take my pill at exactly the same time everyday, without missing one, what are the possibilities of pregnancy? Further you said your partner is using the barrier-precaution too so preventing sperms to enter either. Although 1 sperm can make a woman pregnant but this is not at all the case. Thing is that 1 sperm needs a reinforcement of atleast 2 lacs sperms to do its job according to the book Langman Embroyology of Medical Sciences. So you are 99% on the safe side. Infact you are 100% but i leave 1% for the fact someday you forget to take the precautions, otherwise you are completely safe.

You are being a little too worried. Thats awesome! I was just like you, but as the years went on, and the longer the pill was in my system, the less worried I became. You will be fine. As long as the pill is being taken everyday, if the condom breaks or is faulty, you will still be fine. I stopped using condoms 2 years ago, and not even a scare. I would say keep on with the condom for STD purposes unless you have 100% knowledge your man is being monogomis. But as for worrying about getting a bun in the oven, you are covered! Condoms and pills are 99% effective each when used right, over 99% effective for the pill actually. That's when used alone, when used together it's even more effective. Not sure where you heard a 5-10% failure rate, was that for typical use?

Most of it depends on how you use it. If you do take your pill right (not only same time every day, but there are other criteria too like not taking other medicines, check the leaflet) then that's over 99% effectiveness. Many women rely on the pill alone and have no problems.

Add in a condom used correctly and the chance will go down a lot. Remember this means putting the condom on before any penetration, a lot of people only put it on before ejaculation which is dumb. Also don't use old condoms etc. If you do that all right then the chance of a break or leak is very unlikely; if it happens, the pill is good back-up.

Pill suppresses ovulation very well, condom if working will stop any sperm from getting into you, so no egg and no sperm means no pregnancy.

Implanon birth control with no insurance?

My fiancee' and I are getting ready for our wedding and honeymoon and she wants to get on the Implanon birth control (The liitle plasic rod injected into your arm that lets out birth control substances). She can't do pills because shes been on those before and is very forgetful. Shes been off of those for 3 months. We had to go to a free health clinic for those because her insurance is a Catholic company so they dont cover birth control. Does anyone have any idea how much implanon birth control would cost without insurance or how well it works? ThanksImplanon birth control with no insurance?

i dont know where u come from but here its a one off cost and is usually pretty cheap.
In Australia it cost about $27, or $2.75 if you are on a pension. It works really well, exactly the same as the pill, without you having to remember to take it. And there is no 'not working' time if you are sick or on antibiotics.

Keeping in mind that you may have insurance that covers birth control.... you will want to get one of the marketed-for-no-period-brands because insurance companies are really picky about not paying for extra packs if you decide to skip your periods on the traditional monthly pills.

And then there is the shot... depo provera. That's a shot four times a year and 50% of women don't have a period after being on it for a year.... but studies have shown that it decreases bone density, so I would be more inclined to go with the pill if it will work for you.

Your Dr will advise you on that, he will probably draw some blood to check your hormone levels and then prescribe a pill with the hormones and strength you will need.

I am on loestrin 24 fe and have been on it for a few months. I have been on birth control all together for like 9 yrs. Last month I went on vacation and forgot my pills. I was on my third week. When I got home. I read the directions and it said to take one pill everyday until sunday then throw the pack out and start a new one. I did just that. I took sat pill. Then started a new pack sunday. I did spot for a lil (2 days) when I didn take my pills on vacation. I was suppose to get my period the week after but as per the directions, I started a new pack thus no period. Well was at the end of this pack and was suppose to get my period and no period. I just had some slight blood when I wiped but then it was gone. I never had issues with this pill before. Could it be cause I messed up? Or could I be pregnant? My bf and I did not have sex when I was on vacay due to the fact I didn't have my pills and we had protected sex at least 7 days after that to be sure. I was having excess white discharge for quite some time. More than normal. I also took a pregnancy test the day I was suppose to get my period and it came out negative. Could it be too early to test? The discharge now has kinda slow a little but my boobs started to feel tender..sometimes they do and sometimes they dont. You forgetting to take some pills then going back on them, is probably the reason. i would go to your doctor and explain everything, as you have just here. your doctor will be able to tell you when it is ok to not need to use addition contraceptive as well as the pill to prevent pregnancy.

It is too early to test and you actually can't get an accurate reading if you taking the pill, you have to go to your doctor if you suspect your pregnant. the sore boobs etc is from have a short break off the pill them going back on again, your body is getting used to the hormones again.

Off Birth Control Pills, no Period, 8 weeks later...?

I went off of the pill and had my last period on October 31. I was on the pills for 3 mos to get rid of an ovarian cyst. I have been feeling like my period is coming for the last 3 - 4 weeks. I have had NO spotting, but have had some light cramping. I have the sore BB's, emotional, heartburn, fatigue that is typical with PMS, they have just been here for several weeks instead of several days before period.

What can I do? My Dr's office is close thru the holidays. I did take 3 pg test in the last week. They were all negative. The tests expired in 2008, but they were tests I had at the house. I know they are old, but I still think they are accurate. The control line showed up on them.

I just want to hurry up and start so I will feel more normal. We had planned to start TTC in December, but that isn't going to happen now. Hopefully we can try in January.

8 weeks isn't that long. Once I went off bc it took about 10 weeks. I did call my doc and they didn't want me to come in unless I haven't received it in like 3-4 months! They say it can even take up to a year for the body to start regulating again. Some women don't even get a period after bc, they just get pregnant...so hopefully that's you! Good luck.

Just because your period is off doesn't mean you can't start trying. I was on mirena for 5 months to control bleeding from my the birth of my 2 child (basically period never stopped) Had mirena (IUD) taken out had a cycle every 2 weeks and still got pregnant. So don't give up. It is normal for it to takke a while for your cycle to start back after being on birth control. Plus, if you still feeling his way take another test in a week or so. My first test for this pregnancy was Negative and I knew I felt very pregnant. a week later I got a positive. Was already 6 weeks pregnant.

with unprotected sex there is always a risk for pregnancy. i would buy one anyway just for peace of mind. if it's neg, relax. stress can affect your period as well. if you are still worried, go to your doctor.
