No icons in control panel?

my son messed with the settings in control panel and the icons vanished, how can i get these back in the control panel window, running xp, any help pleaseNo icons in control panel?
Apart from running system restore to get the machine back to its state before your son touched it..

pick a date with a auto save on it, the day before he played..

try FOlder Options in the Control panel window..


there maybe something obvious that can be enabled (I could not see anything here.. but maybe you will )No icons in control panel?
Its maybe because a new installation of software has corrupted the sys.ini. The option I would go for is to restore to a previous date, e.g a couple of days a go. Start/all programs/accessories/system tools/restore. This hopefully undo any changes and have you back up and running
not good your well dun for unles you get another XP or you


make all new sortcuts to the control panel whitch beleave be takes forever
