I think the asker means ';force,'; as in ';creating force.'; Not force like gravity or electromagnetism.
If I may elaborate on the asker's question, I think he means things such as, ';Why did the first big bang start if a god or creator or supernatural force didn't do it?'; Scientists know that the big bang is a cyclical event, but why did the first one start? How did it happen? Conservation of mass and energy can't satisfy these questions at this point in time. Perhaps it really was a god, or perhaps we need to adopt a new system of physics (such as string theory--but I don't know if string theory would satisfy these questions either). The big bang isn't the only thing, either. What is the driving force of evolution? What causes genetic mutations (radiation is relatively man-made, so this is not satisfactory for mutations that occurred before people)? How was the first strand of DNA assembled?
Since science can't answer these questions yet, religion is often used to fill in these holes.Atheist, why there is no GOD and then why there is an unknown force that control this universe. That the?
There's no evidence that there's any ';unknown force'; that controls the universe. So there's no more reason to believe that notion than there is to believe in a ';god'; (for which there is also no evidence of any kind).
The universe isn't ';controlled'; by anything. Things work the way they work -- by saying ';controlled'; you're implying intelligence and design where there is no indication of either one. There are also no ';rules'; -- there's just the way things are. If the strong nuclear force that binds neutrons and protons together in an atomic nucleus was a little stronger or a little weaker, matter as we see it wouldn't have formed, and you wouldn't be here to wonder about it. That the universe evolved (and that you evolved) in a place and time where matter *could* be formed shouldn't surprise you or elicit any idea about design, since it couldn't be any other way. That's called the anthropic principle...look it up. *Of course* we live in a universe where matter can form as we see it -- if matter couldn't form as we see it, we couldn't be here to wonder about it.
Peace.
You mean chemistry and physics? There is no reason to believe that natural laws acting within the constraints of the natural properties of objects need a sentient supernatural creator. Postulating such is also problematic since such a being is itself inconsistent with natural laws and there is no real evidence for its existence. So you are just making large assumptions.
God is any great thing you choose to worship, I go for nature and the unity of two equal halves (Pagans, you know what I'm talking about), As for the unseen force controlling the universe, read some Stephen Hawking, or google Quantum String Theory.
Enjoy
why can't you humbly accept that you will never know everything... we are merely ants in this universe, we are no more than animals. This is what makes it so grand.
to pretend you do know all the answers by inserting 'god' is delusional.
I Believe in God. But the force must be talking about is dark matter. And it can't be an argument for the existence of God. And as far as the first answer ... If God is the universe what exists past the it ? Another God ? If so you are polytheist.
There is no unknown force controlling the universe. Theists are taught that there is one, but after spending years looking I haven't seen any evidence that there is such a force.
The rules are the laws of physics. No Sky Daddy is required.
Who says there's an ';unknown force'; controlling the universe?
The word ';control'; implies intent and there is zero evidence to support that there is any intent behind the laws of nature.
';an unknown force that control this universe';
If it is unknown, how do you know about it? Also, can you demonstrate your claim's validity in any way?
WHAT ';Unknown Force';???
Will this ';Force'; help one when they need it? NO???
Too much ';Star Wars.';
Physics was explained to you in your science book. Remember the day the page stuck to the drool on your face while you slept in class ? That was probably the one.
The universe works the way it does. It doesn't mean a super-being is controlling it, maybe that's just the way it was meant to be.
We can't prove how the universe began, but neither can you.
That unknown force is called physics. Normally, science is used to explore it. Try it, if you can take the truth.
I am only atheist towards the God of Abraham, but I do believe that God is the entire universe itself.
The forces that make up the world can more accurately be called reality, and there appears to be no need to invoke a supernatural explanation.
And the rules evolved by natural selection eliminating all of the solutions that didn't work%26gt;No god required
what of nature. gravity.
Gravity
there isn't an unknown force that controls the universe, only known ones.
can you support that there is an unknown force controlling the universe?
Physics is not an unknown force.
If it's an Unknown force then how do you know about it.
its called natural laws
Which atheist are you addressing?
Better still, which 'unknown force'?
[as above]
...and what about chaos?
'
What unknown force? And how can you tell if it cares what I do?
