Taking birth control & the morning after pill = no pregnancy?

If i take birth control and the morning after pill will definitely make me safe from having to be pregnant right? But does taking both will make you infertile?Taking birth control %26amp; the morning after pill = no pregnancy?
There is no need to take the morning after pill if you've taken all your birth control pills correctly. I think it would probably prevent pregnancy, but it's a lot of hormones and I don't know the interactions or what would happen. You would need to speak to your doctor and/or pharmacist and ask them about taking the morning after pill while you are already on the pill. I'm not sure why you would need to. It wouldn't make you infertile though it may mess up your cycle for a while.

There is no such thing as 100% effective pregnancy protection.

The birth control pill and the morning-after pill together is too many hormones (they are the same hormone, in fact). There is no reason at all to take the morning-after pill if you are stable on birth control pills and haven't missed any. Repeated use of the morning-after pill can make your periods irregular, which will only lead to more unnecessary pregnancy scares.

If you want to use a back-up method to your regular birth control pills, it shouldn't be another hormonal method. If you are taking all your daily pills, you are already covered in the hormone department. You should instead use a barrier method, like a condom or diaphragm, or a spermicide as your secondary protection.
The pill is 99% when used as directed. The morning after pill is 85% effective. So even with the pill and then the morning after pill, you could still end up being pregnant.

The ONLY 100% effective method is abstinence.

They won't make you infertile.

If you are on birth control and take the morning after pill within 72 hours of having sex, then there is almost 0 chance of getting pregnant. It won't make you infertile either.
I don't really know. I doubt it. Have you spoken to your doctor about it?
